TWIN FLAMES: THE PERFECT MIRROR
Most people have only heard of the concept of soulmates, and they often daydream about finding theirs. However, in reality, deeper connections than soulmates exist. These matches are called twin flames. Every relationship has a lesson to teach us as individuals and twin flames are usually the ones that teach us the most. Our relationship with our twin flame is considered the powerful soul encounter we will ever experience in a lifetime.
What is a twin flame?
The twin flame soul connection is an intense one. It is sometimes called a “mirror soul” and thought to be our other half, but in fact we are the same consciousness divided into separate physical bodies, embodying yin yang energies . Twin flame relationships are both challenging and healing, and this is because of the mirroring nature of twin flames. Twin flames mirror your deepest insecurities, shadows, and fears, and leave you to overcome them.
Meeting your twin flame will forever change your life and theirs. A twin flame relationship helps us humans unite the divine feminine and masculine that’s within us all. Even though twin flame relationships are with another person, they help us evolve our relationship with ourselves and with the creator. When the divine masculine and feminine energies come into union with one another, the intense energetic connection causes us to become a better version of ourselves and we realize a version of love that’s not like any other.
The Perfect Mirror
Twin flames mirror each other energetically and have been since birth. Their thoughts are one in the same because we are the same soul body. When twin flames aren’t energetically aligned spiritually and emotionally the polarization between the two causes an intense triggering. This triggering is what I call the perfect mirror. Twin flames will trigger one another through their words and actions. What they do, or what they don’t, or offer you in the relationship will send you into an emotional roller coaster.
The first thing we do is point the finger and call the other out on everything that they’re doing “wrong”. But on the contrary, they are doing everything right. The purpose of this phase is to help you become consciously aware of you. You see, your twin flame is you, you are the same soul, so 99.99% of the time the issues (narcissism, emotional unavailability, thought processes, over thinking) they display or what they subject you to are in fact issues that you yourself have but aren’t consciously aware of. It’s a wake up call, so to speak.
Just like twin flames we often encounter people who reflect who we are as a person on a subconscious level back to us on a conscious level. Hence the phrase “you are what you attract”. This is indeed another form of the law of attraction. So the next time you call out your friend or romantic partner for being a hypocrite, or a manipulator, 9 times out of 10 you are too and you just aren’t consciously aware of it and more than likely you're using a different form of manipulation. Just because your tactic is different doesn’t mean it isn’t producing the same results. Read that again.
Twin flames are always mirroring, where as the divine feminine’s traits will be more subtle than the masculine’s.
